How do I create a Letter of Authority?

Once you enter the relevant information in a financial section of the app (Assets, Liabilities, Pensions or Protection), a Letter of Authority will be automatically generated.

  • Add the required fields (Type and Provider) in the Assets, Liabilities, Pensions or Protection section

  • A Letter of Authority will be pre-populated and automatically appears in the Letter of Authority section

  • Your client can sign directly on the document using an Apple Pencil

A provider does not accept a client’s digital signature on a Letter of Authority

If a provider doesn’t accept digital signatures, you can leave the document unsigned and email it as a PDF for a wet signature. Just click on the Email button in the Letter of Authority section and select the document(s) to send.
