How do I make notes?

*You’ll need an Apple Pencil to make best use of this feature

What?

Digital handwriting for natural data capture during client meetings.

Where?

Find this feature in the Objectives card from a client’s dashboard as well as in most sections when you select the Notes icon in the bottom right corner of the screen.


Toolbar

You'll find the toolbar at the bottom of the screen in any notes section. This consists of handwriting, keyboard, drawing, maths calculation, photo, erase, undo and redo. Read on to find out how each function works.

Handwriting - for those who like to write

*You’ll need an Apple Pencil to use this feature

  • Select the pencil icon from the toolbar at the bottom of the screen

  • Use your Apple Pencil to write on the lines like you would with pen and paper. You’ll see a conversion bar appear as you write so you can see what the function has detected

  • Once you’re happy to convert your notes into a typed format, simply use your finger (not the pencil) to double-tap on the text

  • If you’ve made a mistake, you can use the erase, undo or redo buttons in the toolbar

Tip: Why not try using your Apple Pencil to ‘scribble’ out any mistakes / remove text and watch it disappear!

Keyboard - for those who like to type

*You can use this feature with a smart keyboard attached to your tablet device or the on-screen keyboard.

  • Select the Aa icon from the toolbar and type away

  • Once you’re done, tap on the Save button to see your text appear in that section

Drawing - add some visuals to your meetings

*You’ll need an Apple Pencil to use this feature

  • Select the scribble icon from the toolbar

  • Use your Apple Pencil to draw within the box that appears on screen

  • You can use the erase, undo and redo buttons from the toolbar for any mistakes

Maths calculation - make calculations on the fly

*You’ll need an Apple Pencil to use this feature

  • Select the maths symbols icon from the toolbar

  • Use your Apple Pencil to write your calculations into the box that appears on screen

  • When you’re ready to get the result, use your finger (not the pencil) to double-tap in the box to convert

  • You can use the erase, undo and redo buttons from the toolbar for any mistakes

Photo - capture items for reference

  • Select the photo icon from the toolbar

  • Choose the Take Photo option to activate your device’s camera and capture any images on the go during your meeting

  • The Open Library option will access your device’s photos if you wish to add any images from your own photo library

  • Your image will appear in whichever Notes section you've activated the photo tool from

*Any images added in the Notes section is currently only stored in-app and will not sync to your CRM
